Hands Off! Rally — Red Bank, NJ


On April 5, 2025, Jersey Shore Blue led a public demonstration in Red Bank, New Jersey, as part of the national Hands Off! Day of Action — a mass mobilization against threats to democracy, social programs, and civil rights. Participants gathered to reject extremism, corporate greed, and political indifference.
Purpose of the Action
Oppose budget cuts to Medicare, Medicaid, education, and veterans' services
Defend civil liberties, reproductive rights, and public institutions
Reject authoritarian leadership and right-wing legislation
Amplify local voices standing for democracy, equity, and inclusion
Key message:
“Hands off our future. Hands off our rights. Hands off our lives.”
What Happened
Hundreds gathered with handmade signs, symbolic flags, and protest art. Messages included:
